We’re an Australian company who makes, sells and distributes cute sick bags.  Why cute sick bags?  Because, for some people, vomiting is a natural part of a particular stage in their lives – often it can mean a good thing (a sign of being pregnant) or it is something out of their control (a side effect from chemotherapy).  Unfortunately society has given vomiting a negative stigma – however at Fully Sic Bags, we believe that as vomiting can be a natural part of life, we like to look at the brighter side of it!  Fully Sic Bags aims to make you feel good in a not so nice situation by catching life’s little hiccups in a fun way!

At Fully Sic Bags we also like to share our stories and provide support to each other – we like to hear about your Fully Sic Bag stories and how you have overcome your sickness.  By sharing our stories we support each other.  If you have a story to share, please complete a Testimonial and we will post your story on the site.

What does “Fully Sic” mean?  It does NOT mean “Full of Sick” – however our name does play on both of these terms!

“Fully Sic” is Australian slang and is used as a light hearted exclamation for something being good.  It has been epitomised by teenagers and young adults.

Fully Sic
Adjective – Fool-ee s-ik
1. awesome, brilliant, nice, cool, fabulous, etc…
Saying:  “Your Commodore’s subwooferz fully sic maaite!”
Translation:  “By golly, the sound system in your Rolls Royce is just superb old chap!”

And…

Full of Sick
Adverb – Fool ov s-ik
1. entirely occupied with sickness or vomit
Saying:  “My fully sic Fully Sic Bag is full of sick”
Translation:  “My awesome Fully Sic Bag is filled with vomit”

While Fully Sic Bags aims to make light of an unnerving situation, any excessive vomiting should be raised with your medical practitioner as soon as possible.
